Magazine, Newspaper and Blog Titles You Can Get on the Amazon Kindle Store

If you’ve been holding off on getting a Kindle because the current library just doesn’t have what you want to read, you obviously haven’t seen the available titles recently. The Amazon Kindle Store hosts over 240,000 digital titles (nearly triple the 88,000 original launch offering), and continues to grow. The Kindle Store has several thousand titles of best sellers, children’s classics, science fiction novels, business books, and a variety of other topics.

Of course you’ll have access to current big sellers (Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga), but you’ll also be able to find all sorts of lesser known titles. Whether you’re looking to read the most recent biography, classic nonfiction novel, or try an obscure title, you’ll find something good to read on the Kindle. You can even subscribe to a variety of newspapers, magazines, and blogs. You can go with a daily subscription or you can get a single issue. Some of the big ones you'll find on there are:

Newspapers:

  • The New York Times
  • The Wall Street Journal
  • USA Today
  • The Washington Post
  • Los Angeles Times

Magazines:

  • The New Yorker
  • Newsweek
  • Reader’s Digest
  • Time
  • Forbes
  • Fortune

Blogs:

  • Internet & Technology (Gawker, TechCrunch, Ars Technica, Slashdot)
  • Humor & Satire (The Onion)
  • New, Politics & Opinion (AP US News, Paul Krugman)
  • Sports (ESPN - Bill Simmons, Golf)
